Residence La Cava

La Cava is a beautiful vacation residence with direct views of Lake Como. La Cava is located in the small village of Pognana Lario, 11 kilometers from the city of Como. The vacation apartments are built against the hillside in a breathtaking little valley among tropical palms, cypresses and olive trees. Here you will find large high-quality vacation apartments with unusually beautiful views of Lake Como and its picturesque surroundings. From the resort there is direct access to the lake shore, on foot via stairs or via the resort's panoramic elevator. Here you will also find the beautiful swimming pool of La Cava. The location of the resort is convenient for making various excursions, while still being in a quiet area with a relaxed atmosphere.

Water fun at La Cava

La Cava has a private pool where guests can swim, laze and enjoy the sunny hours overlooking Lake Como and the beautiful mountain slopes. Sun loungers are also available around the pool. You can also enjoy a free fitness center overlooking the lake. Residence La Cava is located on the shores of Lake Como, where there is also a small marina. There are great opportunities for swimming in the lake and water sports, Lake Como has some beautiful beaches with fine gravel. Varenna and Cadenabbia are said to have some of the best beaches around the lake. You can also take wonderful boat trips around the lake and visit sights and quaint towns.

The nearest restaurant, La Meridiana, is just 100 meters away from La Cava. Here you can enjoy delicious Italian Mediterranean dishes. In the nearby town of Faggeto Lario, Ristorante Vapore offers fresh seafood and Italian specialties. Nearby you will also find the luxurious hotel Villa Lario, which has a beautiful Italian restaurant with exquisite dishes. 

The nearest supermarket is about 500 meters away. Here you can do your shopping, get fresh bread and everything else you need during your vacation. You can also from here easily take the bus to the larger city of Como, where there are many special stores and markets. 

Near La Cava

Pognana Lario, where La Cava is located, is a small village in a quiet area, so the area has retained its authentic and relaxed atmosphere. Near the resort are several cozy and beautiful villages that are definitely worth a visit. Among the most popular are Bellagio and Varenna. 

If you are on vacation in September, you must experience Il Palio di Baradello, which is held in the town on the first and second weekends of September. It includes a feast and various tournaments on the lake. You can also take a trip to Lake Lugano, which, with its beautiful scenery and large neighboring town, is easily worth a day trip.
