Camp Santa Monica

Camp Santa Monica is located in Raron in the beautiful Rhone Valley in the Swiss canton of Valais, a region full of high mountains such as the Aletsch Glacier and picturesque Alpine towns. The campground is an excellent base for trips to the glacier, the Simplon Pass and the towns of Zermatt and Saas Fee. Here you will enjoy a pleasant holiday atmosphere and breathe in the fresh air!

 

Amenities and entertainment

The swimming pool and paddling pool for children offer plenty of water fun, while the Löübbach stream, which runs behind the campground, is ideal for children to play in. There are also play tents, sport facilities, an indoor recreation room and an entertainment program in the summer.

The campground's restaurant offers a mix of international and regional cuisine, including Swiss specialties. There is a supermarket next to the restaurant with a wide selection, including the option of ordering fresh bread.

There are two well-maintained outbuildings at the campground with individual laundry facilities, baby facilities and facilities for the disabled.

Surroundings of the campsite

The campground is located in a beautiful valley in the rugged mountains, ideal for peace seekers, nature lovers and hikers. The Aletsch Glacier, Simplon Pass and popular towns like Zermatt and Saas-Fee are all within a 40-minute drive. There are numerous hiking trails and cable cars in the area, as well as an impressive suspension bridge in Raron.
