Presentation of camping Nürnberg
Discover Nuremberg from a different side! Situated in a quiet woodland area in Nuremberg’s Dutzenteich public park, Nuremberg Campsite is a green oasis in the south east of the lively Bavarian city in the middle of a popular local recreational spot with several big lakes around which many people like to walk, jog, skate and cycle. In the summer months you will see many pedalos and rowing boats on the lake. Nuremberg Campsite also serves as the perfect base for a trip into town. The old town of Nuremberg is only a few kilometres away and easy to reach by public transport or by bike.
A camping holiday in one of Nuremberg’s beautiful public parks
Nuremberg Campsite offers the best conditions for a relaxing holiday in the middle of a forest. The buzzing atmosphere of the city with many shopping opportunities and restaurants is only a stone’s throw away. Fancy a swim? The outdoor stadium pool (Freibad Stadion) is located right next to the campsite. With several pools, water slides, a 10-metre-high diving tower, sun loungers, a field for ball games and a beach volleyball court, you will easily get your money’s worth for the whole family. If you get hungry then you can grab something to eat and drink at the restaurant and adjoining beer garden. Back at the campsite there is a children’s playground and a table tennis area.
Take a tour through Nuremberg!
The historic old town of Nuremberg and the impressive castle are something special! You will be catapulted back into medieval times on a guided tour of the city. Don’t forget to look up and catch a glimpse of the houses in the city centre with their stunning gabled roofs. The Albrecht Dürer House is also worth a visit as well as the Toy Museum, the Transport Museum, the historic St Peter railway depot and the documentation centre of the Nazi party rally grounds. A further highlight is the Playmobil Fun Park.
