Presentation of camping Emeraude
You will find Camping Emeraude in the charming old sailors and fishing village of Saint-Brac-sur-Mer on the Côte d’Emeraude. At just 900 metres away lies one of the many beautiful beaches of the Côte d’Emeraude which owes its name to the emerald green colour of the sea. At Camping Emeraude you will find everything you wish for in a holiday; from a swimming pool to a bicycle hire. But also head out to explore the rugged coast and see the pirate town of Saint-Malo, historic Dinan or the bay of Mont Saint-Michel. Brittany at its best!
Facilities at Camping Emeraude
Difficult choice: are you going to the beach or are you staying at the campsite in the swimming pool? Just do it both! In the swimming pool, the water slides are a favourite with children. Parents can maintain their fitness level with aqua aerobics and water polo. Do you want to do something different than swimming? Learn to dance at Zumba or take a cooking class with the chef and make a real Breton dish. Speaking of food, eat delicious fish and shellfish in the campsite restaurant. And for breakfast, you get fresh French bread and Breton pastries in the mini-market. Good food is part of the holiday, right?
Côte d’Emeraude
Attention hikers, cyclists or horse lovers! Great routes run along the coast, one of the best known being the "smuggler's route". Yes, a lot of smuggling and smuggling here on the Channel. Saint-Malo was even a true pirate's nest! Worth a visit. Also do: to the restored town of Dinan. The basilica, the half-timbered houses, the city walls and the river, are beautiful! Another must is Cancale. This harbour town is famous for its very good oysters and the view of Mont Saint-Michel. Do you want to taste more Breton specialities? Brittany is known for its galette, cider, butter, kouign amann (sort of sweet bread) and salty butter sweets. Nice to take home as a souvenir!
