Camping Koversada

The camping in Istrië has existed since 1961 and now covers a whopping 96 hectares! And that's 96 acres of nature, freedom, enjoyment and the ultimate vacation feeling. The long coastal strip features numerous beaches. Truly unique is the island connected by a footbridge to the rest of the campground. Enjoy a rocky beach with plateaus descending into the water, and secluded coves among the trees or enjoy the sandy beach, which is very popular with children. The beaches have been awarded a blue flag, which means super clean bathing water.  

For a good meal, you don't need the camping don't have to go down the road, you even have a choice of restaurants! Centrally located on the campsite you will find the largest restaurant, Amfora, here both breakfast and dinner are served in rich buffet style. You can also choose a sunny spot on the terrace of restaurant Amfora. Further scattered around the campground you will find Basilico for delicious pizza’s and pasta’s, seafood restaurant Batana with local specialties and fresh fish, and for a delicious grilled burger you'll be right at Kapula burger bar. So you can enjoy a variety of culinary delights without leaving the campground, nice and relaxed. For a nice drink, visit ééone of the beachbars at the campsite. If you do want to get some things yourself, there are two supermarkets at the campground and several small stores. Entertainment is also provided. There is an entertainment program for young and old with fun activities. There are also several sports facilities. Hit a ball on the tennis court, play table tennis or win a volleyball tournament. Do you like to travel with your dog? At this dog-friendly campground, your faithful four-legged friends are simply allowed into the restaurant and there are even two dedicated dog beaches.  

The campsite is located just a few km from the cosy port town Vrsar. Visit the charming town of Rovinj, known for its quaint old town and narrow streets full of artisan stores and cosy restaurants. For nature lovers, the National Park Brijuni offers pristine beauty with lush vegetation and an abundance of wildlife. Take a boat trip to the Brijuni-islands and explore the beautiful beaches and interesting archaeological sites. There are also several water sports, such as diving and sailing, that you can explore in the area.
