The campsite’s standout feature is a swimming area which features a main pool and separate paddling pool for youngsters, as well as a fairly spacious sun terrace. Petanque and beach volleyball are offered onsite, while in the local area a selection of fine outdoor activities include golf, horse riding, water sports and biking.

At the poolside bar, you can enjoy refreshing drinks and snacks, while in Camiers you will have access to shops, restaurants and cafes. It’s a short walk into town from the campsite, so feeding yourself and your family is no problem at all. Dine out in the town or return from the supermarket with sausages to sizzle on the BBQ.

A camping holiday in Camiers gives you the chance to spend some well-earned time by the sea, on a soft stretch of lovely white sand carved out by the waves of the English Channel. The best beach in the area is St. Cecile, where you can enjoy relaxing on your towel, building sandcastles or trying some water sports.

While a trip to the beach will likely be one of the best things to do with kids, there are a few other child-friendly places to visit near the town. A popular place to swing by with little ones is Opalaventure Park, where you can enjoy rope climbing and elevated walks between the trees.

If you have a car, we’d recommend planning some day trips, especially heading northwards where you will find several great sightseeing spots such as the Nausicaä Centre National de la Mer Aquarium, Museum of the Atlantic Wall and the Phare du Portel Lighthouse.

Closer to Camiers, there are a handful of historical and cultural places of interest worth checking out, namely Hardelot Castle, Le Touquet Lighthouse, Étaples Military Cemetery, Saint Joan of Arc Catholic Church at Le Touquet-Paris-Plage and the Chantier de construction Navale museum.
