A wonderful destination for young and old? Then you're at the right place at Camping De Kempen. Due to its location in the Nature Reserve Purple Heath, the campsite offers you many hours of cycling and hiking fun in the immediate vicinity. Would you rather visit "Bobbejaanland"? You can go here on foot. Also recommended is the antique market in Turnhout, which is held every Sunday. In July and August, various activities are organized at the campsite. Tired after a day full of activities? Relax on the terrace and possibly linger for a meal in the restaurant.

The campsite is also located along the mountain bike course where big names like Wout van Aert, Mathieu van der Poel and Sanne Cant regularly train. Stop by on Wednesdays and you might see them in action! For the sports fan, this is a unique opportunity to be close to the cycling heroes and explore their challenging route yourself.

Kasterlee, the village where the campsite is located, is known for its pumpkins. Especially in October, there is plenty to do. Get on your bike and discover the cosy pumpkin market, admire the pumpkin regatta or attend an exciting pumpkin shooting competition. 

The campsite is located in the middle of nature, hidden in the heart of the Kempen woods. From your caravan,n you step directly onto the Kempense Heuvelrug. Here you will find the real Kempen: an oasis of tranquillity, beautiful hiking trails and unspoiled nature. Whether you like a quiet walk or a brisk hike, the area offers something for everyone.
