Camping holidays at Lake Garda

Camping on Lake Garda means enjoying the riches this area has to offer, excursions and day trips to visit towns and villages right on the lake but also inland. Surrounded by some of Italy's best wine-growing areas, it is also famous for its lemons, olive oil and freshwater fish, all of which are present in the local cuisine!

Lake Garda is conveniently located for other northern Italian treasures, such as Venice, Verona and Milan.

Our best campsites on Lake Garda

Camping Bella Italia is a lively destination with all the amenities you could wish for, including a lagoon-style swimming pool and three colourful water slides, surrounded by a large solarium and a poolside bar.

Camping Europa Silvella enjoys a privileged location on the shores of Lake Garda and is perfect for combining relaxation, enjoying the wonderful pool complex and beach, with a day exploring the surroundings.

Camping San Francesco in Desenzano offers a superb swimming pool complex consisting of two pools, one of which is separate for children, and a fantastic water park.

Camping Eden is something special. Characterised by a series of steep terraces, many of our mobile homes offer a unique view of the lake. The beach and jetty by the lake are always available for a dip, or are the ideal base for windsurfing or canoeing.

Things to do on a camping holiday at Lake Garda

If you plan to spend your camping holiday on Lake Garda, make sure you visit the beautiful and romantic city of Verona. Incredible operas are staged in the Arena of Verona, one of the best preserved Roman amphitheatres in the world.

Gardaland is the longest-running amusement park in Italy, located south of Lake Garda and close to many of our camp sites. The theme park is a combination of rides, music, and cartoon characters that live in the park and lend themselves to photography with the little ones.

Lake Garda could be considered a ‘bike-resort’. Hundreds of miles of well-marked trails suitable for all needs, among the steep peaks and at the lake's edge.

As if Lake Garda wasn't beautiful enough admired from its shores, don't miss the opportunity to admire it from the top of Monte Baldo. A 360-degree rotating cabin will take you to the summit for a breathtaking view!

The spa town of Sirmione lies on a peninsula at the southern end of Lake Garda. Besides mud baths and thermal water, it is famous for its moated castle and the Grotte di Catullo, a vast ruined Roman villa named after the poet Catullus.
