In the Katschtal Valley surrounded by marvellous mountains and sprawling green landscapes, 4* Campsite Bella Austria is a wonderful destination for a relaxing holiday with the whole family. Offering campers the chance to enjoy the best of the outdoors, the site is a beautiful but serene place to stay in Styria.

At the heart of the resort is an inviting swimming pool complex that features a main lagoon style pool accompanied by a shallow water swimming area for little ones. The complex is enveloped by soft green grass upon which a selection of sun loungers rest. Ideal for down time or making a splash, the pool area boasts gorgeous vistas of the surrounding tree-lined mountains. There is also a wellness area featuring a selection of saunas.

Entertainment and activities for the kids is excellent at Bella Austria, as the resort has a multi-use sports ground, playground and mini farm. Not only that, the resort has a lively Kid’s Club that organises fun activities in high season such as face painting, arts & crafts, sports competitions and lots more. Activities in the local area that are fun and family-friendly include horse-riding excursions.

With a terrace for al fresco dining in the fresh mountain air, the onsite restaurant offers a varied menu with good options for kids. With typical Austrian cuisine and familiar European dishes, there is something for everyone to enjoy. The restaurant also offers a pizza takeaway service, while the bar is a fantastic spot for sociable drinks with stunning views of the local area. A small convenience store is also open to campers and is well-stocked with daily essentials.

In the immediate area around the campsite, holidaymakers can enjoy a range of outdoor activities such as walking, hiking and cycling. There are a few picturesque villages dotted around the local surroundings, such as Murau, which occupies a lovely location on the banks of the River Mur.

There a several child-friendly attractions in the local area including the Oberwölz climbing park, where kids can play Tarzan while enjoying 10 different climbing routes. Other good attractions for children include the St Ruprecht Wood Museum and 3D Parcours Zirbitzkogel, Austria's largest archery park.

Amazing natural places to visit nearby the resort include the crashing waters of the Günstner Waterfall, while beer lovers will savour a day trip to the Murauer Brewery Museum.
