Camping Walsheim

This cosy family campsite is located in the UNESCO recognised biosphere reserve Bliesgau. You can find therefore around Camping Walsheim nice nature. From the campsite you go walking or cycling in the nature reserve with impressive forests, open landscape and meadow orchards. Swimming in the big communal pool with for example a 50 meter bassin and a big children and toddler pool. A water slide is also there. Around the pool, that is located directly next to the campsite, you find a big lawn from about 8000 m2. When the children do not feel like swimming, there is a playground and a beachvolleybal field. near the safaritenten you find on the camping also another playground. After a nice day on or around this campsite, you can go to the “Campinghaus” for a drink and for eating something. Around the campsite you find a couple of nice villages and cities, like Walsheim, Saarbrücken, Reinheim and Medelsheim. The old center of Ottweiler, with as most famous place of interest the “Alter Turm”. Even a day trip to Strasburg in France is a possibility.
