You’re not restricted to the River Ems as the River Hase and various canals all come together around Meppen, creating a varied landscape just begging to be explored from the water. Fun at the pool

Cyclists have easy access to 3.500 kilometres of cycle paths around the German/Dutch border with more than 50 routes guaranteed as absolute flatland. Hikers are also very well served with a mix of old pilgrims’ paths and new trails.
