Camping La Forêt

The car-free campsite La Forêt in the village of Klingenthal in Alsace is a wonderful place for anyone who loves peace. Alsace is of course known for its half-timbered houses and delicious wines, and the hospitable managers of the campsite will be happy to tell you where to go for the best spots in this region. Although the campground is small, you'll find a tennis court, a heated swimming pool and a kids' club.

Water fun at Camping La Forêt

The spacious outdoor pool is ideal for a refreshing dip on a hot summer day. For little ones, there is a separate paddling pool where they can splash and play safely. The loungers around the pool invite you to relax while enjoying the sun. Don't forget your inflatable unicorn, because the atmosphere at the pool is always cheerful and fun! And if you feel like water outside the campground, grab your picnic basket and head for a nearby river.

Facilities and entertainment at Camping La Forêt

In addition to the pool, children can enjoy the playground and the kids' club (in high season). The animation team at the kids' club organizes various activities and entertainment for children aged 6 to 10. There is also a playroom and a library. Stores and supermarkets are located between 3 and 6 kilometers from the campsite, but in high season there is a small selection of snacks and a bar and restaurant.

Visit the charming town of Obernai, just a few kilometres away, with its picturesque streets and lively markets. For a day of adventure, head to Europa-Park, Germany's largest amusement park, less than an hour away. Or explore the wonderful wine routes of Alsace and taste the delicious local wines. For nature lovers, there are countless hiking and biking trails through the breathtaking forests and hills. And don't forget to visit the impressive ruïnes of Château du Haut-Koenigsbourg, where you'll take a step back in time.
