Presentation of camping Valkanela

Situated between the picturesque coastal towns of Vrsar and Funtana on the Istrian peninsula, Campsite Valkanela has an enviable location boasting a peaceful cove marked by inviting emerald waters and a nice pebble beach. Leafy pine trees provide ample shade on this wonderful beachside destination offering amazing Adriatic Sea vistas.

The campsite offers holidaymakers the choice of three refreshing swimming pools with an area dedicated to small children that features a splash playground, and plenty of sunbathing spots around the spacious terrace. The stretch of beach directly accessed from the campsite has impossibly clear water and pristine shores that have helped achieve its Blue Flag status.

Whilst the resort is tranquil enough to enjoy sunny days relaxing under the warm Croatian sun, there are plenty of things to do on site for active campers. The sport & recreation options at Valkanela include tennis, mini golf, bicycle rental, table tennis, beach canoe rental and so much more. Kids will love the choice of outdoor playgrounds as well as billiards, darts and table football. The exciting mini club offers plenty of activities for youngsters including hobby workshops, mini cabaret & disco, beach volleyball and much more.

Camping by the beach affords visitors to Valkanela with the chance to indulge in sun-drenched days on beautiful shores and wonderful water sports including sea canoeing, jet skiing or playing on the floating water park close to the resort. Pack your snorkel and you’ll be able to explore the marine life on the seabed. On the beach, join in with other campers for a game of beach volleyball.

The scenic seaside town of Vrsar is a short walk from the campsite and features a picturesque coastal promenade. You can organise a lovely boat trip through the green waters of the Lim channel from the village. The popular resort of Poreč lies to the north, and many visitors make their way to the amazing Aquacolors water park on the outskirts of the town. In the beautiful town of Rovinj, you can explore a selection of lovely beaches or plan a walking trip with amazing views from Zlatni Rt park Forest.
