The national parks of Hoge Veluwe, Lauwersmeer and Dunes of Texel are scenic, serene escapes and make for wonderful walking trips. The gorgeous trees, flowers and landscapes are complemented with amazing wildlife.

Wide sandy beaches and lively seaside resorts can be found on the coast, as well as gorgeous little islands and mini peninsulas. Special mentions goes to the beach at Zandvoort aan Zee that boasts lovely sand and cool bars. On the island of Texel, day-trippers are rewarded with white sandy beaches and the chance to see some marine wildlife.

Once you have explored the countryside, you should make some time for the cities. In Amsterdam, there are amazing museums such as the Anne Frank House, Rijksmuseum and Van Gogh Museum.
